This is a derby light weekend, as the Nation's Capital gets ready to play host to the 2 day Blood Spill on the Hill tournament in one week's time. The Rideau Valley Roller Girls' Riot Squad are in Toronto to take on GTARollergirls' Derby Debutantes. The bout takes place at Ted Reeve Arena, 125 Main Street, Toronto.
Speaking of Blood Spill on the Hill (for those of you who dont alread know all about it), its the Canadian Women's Roller Derby Association East Championship which is an invitational tournament for leagues across Ontario, Quebec, and Eastern Canada. The bulk of the teams for this year's tournament are from Ontario, mainly along the corridor between Ottawa and Toronto.
The event is being hosted by the Rideau Valley Roller Girls, and is taking place at Navan Memorial Centre & Arena, 1485 Colonial Rd in Navan, Ontario.
